The International Day of the Boy Child initiative focuses on equipping boys aged 8–18 across Nigeria with the skills, support, and guidance needed to navigate societal expectations while becoming responsible and empowered individuals. This program addresses challenges such as academic underachievement, mental health, substance abuse, and lack of mentorship opportunities.
Through partnerships with schools, youth organizations, community leaders, and media outlets, we create structured events that combine sports, educational workshops, and leadership mentoring. Participants gain practical skills in financial literacy, emotional intelligence, digital literacy, and community engagement, preparing them to thrive personally and contribute positively to society.
Try to Become a Volunteer, This Can Solve Many Problems
Volunteers play a crucial role in guiding boys through the program’s activities. Roles include mentoring participants in life skills, coordinating sports tournaments, assisting in workshops, and providing one-on-one guidance. Volunteers help organize football and basketball sessions, lead coding or robotics workshops, and facilitate discussions on positive masculinity and emotional resilience.
For example, a volunteer might mentor a participant struggling with school performance, offering tutoring and practical advice on managing peer pressure and goal-setting. Their dedication ensures that each participant receives personalized support, helping boys build confidence, discipline, and leadership abilities.
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

Now Any Help is Needed
The campaign relies on donors, partners, and community members to expand its reach and impact. Contributions fund workshops, sports kits, mentorship sessions, educational materials, and transportation for participants from underserved communities. For instance, $10,000 supports a full-day workshop and sports session for 50 boys, including facilitator fees, refreshments, and learning materials. Larger contributions sponsor multi-community campaigns with transportation, coaching staff, and media coverage to showcase achievements and inspire other young men. Corporate partners can provide in-kind donations such as sports equipment, digital tools for learning, or venues for training sessions. Every gift enables us to deliver comprehensive programming that empowers boys to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally, creating a ripple effect of responsible, capable young men across the nation.
