The International Day of the Girl Child campaign focuses on celebrating and empowering girls across Nigeria, reaching urban and rural communities alike. Through a combination of educational workshops, mentorship programs, and sports activities, we aim to provide girls aged 8–18 with tools, skills, and opportunities to thrive.
Partnering with local schools, women’s organizations, community leaders, and media houses, we ensure that our initiatives highlight leadership, creative expression, and access to resources that support mental and physical well-being. This program inspires girls to pursue education, personal growth, and social engagement, fostering a generation of confident and capable young women.
Try to Become a Volunteer, This Can Solve Many Problems
Volunteers are central to bringing this program to life. Roles include mentoring participants, coordinating sports tournaments, facilitating creative workshops, and assisting with event logistics. For instance, volunteers help girls prepare for leadership debates, coach them in grassroots football and basketball matches, and organize screenings of inspiring films and documentaries.
Many volunteers also provide one-on-one guidance in career exploration, digital literacy, and mental health awareness. Through their active engagement, volunteers directly influence participants’ confidence, skills, and long-term ambitions.
The future is female, and it begins with every girl given the opportunity to learn, lead, and excel

Now Any Help is Needed
The campaign relies on donors, corporate partners, and community supporters to expand its reach. Contributions fund educational materials, sports kits, event logistics, and mentorship programs. For example, ₦50,000 covers workshops and supplies for 50 participants in one community, while larger gifts support multi-community campaigns with transportation, training facilitators, and media outreach. Corporate partnerships enable media advocacy campaigns to highlight girls’ achievements nationwide, while in-kind donations; books, sports equipment, creative supplies, ensure every girl fully participates. Supporters also help sustain ongoing mentorship networks, providing continuous guidance beyond the event itself.
